Johnson County Health Department - Public Health Emergency Program

This program ensures the health and the safety of the residents of and visitors to Johnson County, in the event of a biological attack or large scale disease outbreak. This is accomplished by:

Continued preparedness planning and assessment of response capabilities,
Increasing the epidemiologic capacity and surveillance activities,
Enhancing communication abilities with in the county,
Enhancing ability to disseminate health information during a crisis, and
Provide educational and training opportunities to key players and general public.
