New Meningitis Vaccine for ages 11 to 55

Menactra, a Meningococcal conjugate vaccine, is recommended for those pre-adolescents at about age 11 to 12 and for those who have not previously been vaccinated, before entering high school at about age 15. College freshmen living in dormitories are at higher risk compared with others the same age.
